Polyethersulfone (PES) syringe filters with a 13mm diameter and 0.22µm pore size are widely used in laboratory settings for sterile filtration of small-volume aqueous samples, such as peptide solutions (e.g., PE-22-28, AICAR, Selank), buffers, and culture media. These hydrophilic filters offer low protein binding, high flow rates, and excellent chemical compatibility with aqueous solutions and mild organic solvents.
